Tianjin Radio and TV Network Reform Project
In March 2011, Changguang Technology won the bid for Tianjin Radio and TV Low-frequency EOC Project. The CATV optical receiver of this project is mostly 2-channel to 4-channel RF output, and the coaxial distribution is passive. In order to reduce the early-stage coverage cost, each optical node is currently equipped with one EOC headend, which is fully covered with a 2-way/4-way signal mixer (MIX-2/4). The terminal equipment acts as a home gateway to enable access to broadband and interactive services.
At present, Tianjin Radio and TV has covered five districts and counties such as Wuqing, Jinghai, Ninghe, Baodi, and Qixian.
